ImPACT Certified Concussion Management

What is ImPact? ImPact or Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing is the most widely-used and scientifically validated computerized concussion evaluation system. ImPACT-trained physicians are provided with state of the neurocognitive assessment tools and services, enabling more accurate decisions to safely return individuals to activity. The importance of recognizing and properly treating concussions, especially in young athletes, continues to be an important topic in Sports Medicine. Our team is highly trained in concussion management, ensuring our patients receive proper diagnosis and expert care before entering back into the game.
 

Meet the Team

Kyle Snell, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician. Dr. Snell earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing. He completed his family medicine residency at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing and his sports medicine fellowship at Michigan State University in East Lansing. Dr. Snell’s clinical interests include sports medicine, preventive medicine and osteopathic manual medicine.

 
 
 

Courtney Erickson-Adams, M.D. is Board Certified in Sports Medicine and works closely with athletes and active-lifestyle patients. Dr. Erickson-Adams is specially trained to provide non-operative treatment options for sports-related and active lifestyle injuries including concussions, fracture management, overuse and misuse conditions. Dr. Erickson-Adams completed her Sports Medicine Fellowship at Michigan State University.

Dr. Erickson-Adams has worked as a team physician, providing sideline and game coverage for high school, collegiate and semi-professional sports including: football, basketball, soccer, baseball, hockey, volleyball and gymnastics.
