Computerized Tomography (CT)

CT images provide more detailed information than plain x-rays. The scan combines a series of X-ray images taken from different angles, computer processing creates cross-sectional images of the bones, blood vessels and soft tissues inside your body.

Health Pointe is part of the American College of Radiology Registry for Lung Cancer Screening. Because of this, Health Pointe can perform CT low dose lung screenings and it can be billed to the patient’s insurance.

The National Cancer Institute estimates a reeducation of 16% in lung cancer mortality with the use of Low Dose CT screening.

We use x-rays for more than to diagnose broken bones, we also use them for screening, diagnosing and treating other medical conditions such as infections, arthritis and tumors.

Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Mammography is an x-ray picture of the breast used for both screening an diagnosis. We’re also excited to provide tomosynthesis 3- imaging technology, capable of detecting signs of breast cancer other mammograms might miss.

Bone Density

Painless and noninvasive, this test shows if you have normal bone density, low bone density (osteopenia) or osteoporosis. The lower the bone density, the greater the risk is forĀ  breaking a bone.
