Community, staff respond to emergency blood appeal
Grand Haven, Mich., Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020 — After learning about an emergency appeal for blood donors due to a blood shortage in the state, Health Pointe team members and community quickly responded.
Versiti, formerly known as Michigan Blood, partnered with Health Pointe to host a community blood drive on Wednesday.
This blood drive collected enough blood to save up to 95 lives in our community!
“Our community and Health Pointe team members really stepped up in this time of need and made this past blood drive our best one yet,” said Michelle Crego, Communications Specialist at Health Pointe.
The next community blood drive, hosted in Health Pointe’s Community Room, is on Wednesday, April 15 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Follow this link to sign up.
