Spring into Healthy Habits for Summer

Summer is right around the corner, so don’t wait until June 21 to decide it’s time to start ditching those comfort foods for fresh fruits and veggies. Join Dr. Mary Dagen as she talks about how the food you eat can control your health to get you ready for the warmer seasons. She’ll introduce culinary medicine, healthy foods to have on hand, risks of overweight/obesity, ways to decrease weight as well as explain the importance of including more movement into our daily routines. Dr. Dagen will also prepare cost-friendly and healthy recipes to bring with you to the beach, boat or wherever summer takes you (you’ll even get to taste test during the event).
